Welcome to Year 4
Welcome to Class 4 and thank you for visiting our page.
We are an energetic and enthusiastic class who love to laugh and enjoy our learning.
Miss Dunn is our teacher and Mr Storey and Miss Carey are our teaching assistants.
Please scroll down to find out what we have been learning about.
Class 4 PE lessons take place on Friday afternoons. Children will be expected to come to school dressed in full PE kit.
As outlined in the letter, we have changed our homework policy this year. Spelling rules and times tables will be sent home each week and will be tested each Friday. Children should be aiming to read a little every night, either independently or with an adult. Please continue to listen to your child read and sign in their reading records.

Below are the Y3/4 statutory words which your child will be expected to spell correctly by the end of Year 4.
We visited Beamish museum to take part in the Agricultural show. It was a fabulous day where we got to take part in dancing workshops, help shear a sheep and learnt about beekeeping, among other activities. St. Michael’s fruit and vegetables, as well as crafts made by different classes, were entered in to competitions and we came home having been placed in lots of categories, with certificates to prove it. A brilliant day all round!
In class 4, we love a photo opportunity. Check us out at Beamish in traditional dress.
